(More customer reviews)Battery works perfectly in my Canon Vixia HF S30, after a full change, the battery is good for 140 minutes of recording time with the flip out screen, and 220 minutes of playback. Shows the remaining battery time.
This is the ideal battery, compared with the BP-808. It has twice the life and still looks good when attached. (it comes out flush with the closed EVF, so any bigger would become a nuisance. I find this battery to be ideal sized.) It also charges very quickly with the included wall adapter.
!!! Make sure, as with all lithium batteries, you charge it up all the way when you get it, and then immediately discharge it all the way. Put your camera on a tri-pod or something and have it record until it runs out of power. Then recharge the battery again. This will ensure proper calculation of battery life. Once you do this once, you can recharge it at any time !!!
