If your camcorder is larger than the average (for example Canon HFS10, HFS11, HFS20, HFS21 etc), then you will need a bigger bag. You can also use this bag for the medium size camera (not SLR), but it is too big for a Flip type camcorder or the small/thin pocket camera (and no strap available to secure the equipment so you want use it for something that will fit/snug). This bag also have compartment for accessories (memory cards, extra battery etc)
Here's the dimension of the bag (5.1 x 3.9 x 6.5'') and the compartment size for the camcorder (3.7 x 2.3 x 4.4'')
This bag is very sturdy and feels solid on the outside with its clamshell design which will protect the camcorder. The inside is very soft which will kept your equipment safe/not scratched. It also comes with a long strap to carry it on the shoulder. The tilt-out feature enables easy/quick access to the camcorder.
All in all it's a very nice and solid camcorder bag. Just make sure it will fit your camcorder/equipment before you get it.
