The camera quality is in HD, everything is very clear. The audio is surprisingly very clear as well. It picks up everything in the room, even though I have it in my shirt or pant pocket.
Activating the recording is easy with a push of a button on top of the pen.
What could be better? The biggest thing is twisting the pen on to write. It's not in the middle, but near the very tip. This means, anyone picking this pen up could easily unscrew and find what's inside.
Secondly, the instruction somewhat cumbersome and it's difficult to know if the pen is on or off or recording unless you play with it several times.
Third, time stamping the photo and video requires you to upload a text file prior to recording. Otherwise it defaults to 2007.
Lastly, the pen does get warm when recording.
If you keep it in your pocket or on your folder, you'll have no problems recording those lectures or trade show conversations.
