I use this extensively for traveling and backpacking with my camera gear...without worry of destroying my filters. As stated, the case is "compact"...it usually stays in my cargo pocket on my pants so I have the filters I need easily accessible.
These cases are much better than the "wallet" style holders, as each filter has its own padded space. The wallets tend to transfer their material to the filters or damage the delicate coatings on the glass.
If you are going to do any traveling, looking to carry filters in a compact camera bag set-up, or go backpacking with your gear - get this case.
